We continue to embrace the beauty and excitement of spring! With longer days and blooming flowers, May brings a sense of renewal and a plethora of events to celebrate.
May is National Motorcycle and Bike Safety Awareness Month. Be sure to watch out for each other as spring weather draws more highway users across the country. Look twice at intersections and before changing lanes or making turns. These simple yet important actions behind the wheel could be the difference between life and death for a motorcyclist or bicyclist.
Mother's Day is a special occasion to honor and show appreciation for the incredible women in our lives. Take the time to express your love and gratitude, whether it's through a heartfelt gift or spending quality time together.
May is also a month of remembrance and gratitude. Memorial Day allows us to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. Take a moment to reflect on their sacrifices and participate in local memorial events to show your support.
As the weather continues to warm up, it's the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities. National Bike Month encourages us to pedal our way to fitness and explore our surroundings on two wheels. Take advantage of the pleasant weather and go for a bike ride with friends or family.
With the arrival of spring, many of us are eager to start gardening. May is recognized as National Garden Meditation Day, a day to find tranquility and peace in our gardens. Whether you have a small balcony garden or a spacious backyard, spend some time connecting with nature and finding solace in the act of gardening.
May is also Disability Insurance Awareness Month (DIAM), which is a great time to discuss disability insurance protection options with customers. Having DI can help replace lost income and provide funds to help with monthly bills and debt obligations.
National Life Insurance Day is on May 2nd and marks the anniversary of the first day that life insurance became available in the U.S. Maintaining appropriate life insurance policies can relieve some struggles of the cost of funeral and burial expenses, remaining medical bills, or other costs that may be incurred at the end of life.
